Free Graphics: Createblog.com (again!)

I've been back to this site and thought it would be worth mentioning that they have a whole lot more to offer than just Blogger templates. On the homepage you will find all sorts of goodies including graphics (banners, backgrounds and photos), tutorials, forums, and loads more besides.

One thing that crossed my mind. You don't have to radically change your blog to make it look pretty. A simple banner or background could be just enough to achieve the look you want.

Take the 'Minima' template by Douglas Bowman, for example, which is one of Bloggers own templates. This would be a great one to add a nice banner to and then colour coordinate the headers, text, links, borders and backgrounds. See, it doesn't have to be complicated to tart up the old blog!
